American flag compression pendant
Cesar started to produce his famous compressions of scrapped automoile bodies, discarded metal and rubbish using a hydraulis crushing machine. This unique signed pendant was formed from a painted metal American flag, possibly even from a car number plate. Furthermore, Cesar was a staunch pacifist, so this pendant might also have been created as a protest against the Vietnam War.
